This post is a special one.

A few weeks ago I flew to South Florida to help throw a mehndi ceremony/bridal shower for one of my closest, longest friends. The bride and I have known each other since we were in Kindergarten, so together with one of our other closest, oldest friends and our moms, we threw her a celebration for her upcoming wedding. Mehndi is a ceremonial art that is typically on the bride a few days before her wedding, so she can wear it on her big day. Since the wedding is taking place in France (I know, I’m so excited!), we decided to throw her the party a little earlier. We had traditional Indian food, hookahs, an artist, decorations, and lots of love. Have you ever seen a more beautiful dress than the one the bride is wearing?
If you’re in the South Florida area and are looking for a henna artist, I highly suggest Naza Henn. She did absolutely amazing work and with proper care, the artwork can last a few weeks. The work she did on the bride was absolutely stunning, and she even hid the wedding date and the groom’s name. It took about two hours for the bride’s artwork, but it came out stunning.
