There’s nothing better than quick trips to New York.
Two weeks ago I spent the weekend in New York for my cousin’s wedding. My family and I stayed in Hoboken and spent a quick day in the city and in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, where I’m originally from. When I’m on the east coast there are a few stops I have to make which of course, involve food. The first is Pizza Wagon for pizza (duh) and the second in Nino’s for a real Italian ice.
We also happened to be there during 9/11, which felt unreal. And while there was a somber mood in the air, it was nice to see the city come together to remember the tragic day. It’s hard to believe it was already 15 years ago.
Our AirBNB was at the Pelican Stay, which are really cool suites in Hoboken. The rooftop gave us a beautiful view of the city, where I snapped some photos of the memorial lights.
