I got that right… right?

I stepped away from the blog for a bit because I’ve been traveling. I thought 2015 and 2016 were the year of weddings, but to my delight, the weddings haven’t slowed down for my friends. After I got back from Florida, I was home in Chicago for two days and then headed to New York for one a long-time family friend’s wedding. It was held in the Picnic house at Prospect Park and it was so beautiful! Spring weddings can be hit or miss when it comes to the weather, but they couldn’t have asked for a better day. I also spent most of my time consuming as much pizza as possible, which included breakfast (no shame in my pizza game).
But now that I don’t have any travel plans until the summer (which is always subject to change), I have so many things I want to blog about, including a bucket list I’ve been doing. This year I turn the big number.. it begins with a 3 and ends in a 0 and it’s scary as F#[K but there’s no hiding from it. So I might as well do some fun stuff in celebration, right?
I’ve been loving this off the shoulder top. It’s super, super affordable and light-weight, so it’s perfect for the transitional weather. It’s also somewhat of a side-mullet – covered and business on the right side and open and party on the left side. Get it? Yeah?
