This feels so surreal to write. On January 27th at 11:06AM we welcomed our son Jude Harrison Rosenberg into the world! Originally due February 15th, I had a hunch that I'd deliver before my due date but I never expected him to be so early. After sharing our miscarriage story, announcing our pregnancy, and sharing updates along the way (check my favorite pregnancy products, my 20 week update, and holiday traditions we're planning to start with baby), I can't believe I'm actually sharing his ... Cozy Winter in Ponchos
Happy New Year! Checking in for a quick post to share this super comfy cape I snagged during Black Friday shopping. I really love Loft and have been hunting for a poncho wrap but had trouble finding one that didn't look like I was walking around in an oversized blanket (although, I can't think of a better way to get through winter...). This cape is big enough to feel like a warm hug, but not too big where I'm drowning in it. It's also super soft! And if you haven't noticed by my photos, ... View Post
Sweater Dresses, Holiday Plans, and a Low-Key End of Year
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas. Not literally, I am. Even though we've lived in Chicago for seven years, this Christmas will be our first one in the city. Usually we head to either Los Angeles or Florida this time of year, but because we will be welcoming a baby in February, we decided to stay here for the holidays. My family will be flying in this week so it will be our first time hosting Christmas! And although we're bursting at the seams in our condo (which if all goes well, we won't ... View Post
READY PRETTY’S HOLIDAY SHOOT
A couple of weeks ago I got to partake in such a photoshoot for Ready Pretty's holiday campaign! If you're unfamiliar with Ready Pretty The Shoppes, it's an online shopping site that curates pieces from local boutiques and brands so you can shop and support small business from the comfort of your own home. The best part is that all boutiques and brands are female founded (#girlpower) and Ready Pretty itself is owned by one kick-ass woman, Jeannine. When she reached out to me about being a ... View Post
PLANNING HOLIDAY TRADITIONS WITH BABY
Aren't the holidays the most magical time of the year? To be fair, Halloween is my favorite holiday. Even if I don't dress up, I love the weather that time of year and handing out candy. Plus I'm a huge fan of horror films and all things scary. In fact, I think one of the things I'm looking forward to most about motherhood is dressing up my child and doing a family themed Halloween costume (until he finds us un-cool and wants to do his own thing, at least). And I may or may not already have ... View Post
FROM LOTIONS TO APPS: MY FAVORITE PREGNANCY PRODUCTS
Hello from 26 weeks + 6 days! I can not believe that in one week I will be entering my third trimester. It's funny because when I follow celebrity pregnancies, they feel like they last eternity (do you know how agonizing the wait to see Kylie Jenner's baby was?) but I swear my own pregnancy has flown by. The first trimester I felt pretty nauseous and sick, but around 15 weeks I started to feel more like myself. Unfortunately my anemia has worsened with pregnancy and has me very tired and a bit ...
